Have been super busy for the past 2 days!! Didn't have time to blog, so I thought of doing it in the morning today, about the last 2 days. Well, on Sunday, as mentioned in my previous post, I had to follow my mum to the market in Klang. I got at 6.30am (mum's orders), and I had to get ready in 15 minutes, because my mum said to leave at 6.45am. I just took my breakfast and freshened up, no point taking a bath, because markets are so dirty!! As usual, my mum was late, so we only left at 7.15am!!! I was like, no use larh I get up so early, in the end I and my grandmother had to wait for my mum outside (I was playing with my brother's Gameboy while my grandmother was busy complaining).
It took about 30 minutes to reach there, since we were late (thanks to my mum!!), we had no parking space, so my grandmother and me got down first. The market was quite big, they sell practically everything. The clothes fashion selling there was also not bad for a market, lol. Well, my grandmother wanted to buy tortoise, because she said it is good for cough. I was like, okay...I am sooo not eating it. The guy selling it just took the tortoise out of the water, give it a knock on the head using the knife, it wasn't really dead yet...he just put it on the road and started cutting out the shell. I was like.....OMG!!! It wasn't even fully dead yet, plus there was blood all over the road. Thank God I wasn't those type of people who will fall sick at the sight of blood (my mum is, but she was still parking the car at that time).
While walking along inside the market, buying pork, chicken, organic vegetables, onions, garlic and others, I saw so many beggars. One that particularly was stuck in my mind ever since then was this really REALLY thin guy, he only had one hand, and one leg. He laid face down on the road, with a Milo tin in front of me, and he just keeps bobbing his head up and down, groaning at the same time. I was like......so poor thing!!! Others were like also very very thin, but theirs was more of like injuries and stuff. I then thought, I guess this is why I'm in Leo Club, to help people!!
After we came back, my mum continued sewing the yellow scarfs for her annual dinner, while the rest of us were in the kitchen, all very fascinated while my grandmother was cutting the tortoise!! It was sort of like Biology class or something, we got to see the windpipe, the inside of the tortoise. It was pretty gross, but again, thank God I don't get sick at the sight of these kind of things. In the afternoon, I just helped my mum turn the yellow scarfs she made inside out, and iron them. I was practically doing them until 10pm. Before that, I did a bit of her boss's graduation hat and spent half an hour practicing piano.
Yesterday, I spent the whole day just finishing her boss's hat, and cutting out numbers, for her and 3 other office mates who were going as basketball players. Believe me, it was so much of work!! I also did a bit of my mum's hat yesterday, have to finish it off today. I got a small teddy bear for all the work I did for them, though I prefer cash =) , but I also love teddy bears, so I wasn't that bumped!! Well, I've gotta go, have to watch 'Reaper', and finish off my mum's hat!!
