Tears & Joy of PMR!!

on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Went to collect my results today....was dead nervous at first. When Pn.Suraiya gave me my results, I was like O-M-G!!!! I GOT STRAIGHT A's!!!!! I was so glad!!! My best friends, Ramona, Liz and Janice had gotten straight A's as well!!! We were all in cloud nine!!! There were some people crying as well, poor things...took some pictures later then went back home. The first picture is Liz, Afie, me, Ramona and Janice. The second one is Jo Lin, me and Ramona.

In the evening, went to Sunway Pyramid with my family to watch 'Australia'. Was damn freaking nice!!! My aunt bought me two new dresses for getting all A's. I will blog about my Christmas holidays tomorrow, no time today!!! Ciao!!

P.S. Congrats to all those who got straight A's for PMR!!! =D

Christmas is Coming!!!!

on Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Have been pretty busy the past two days. Yesterday, we all rushed and packed our bags for we were going to Malacca that afternoon. We left at 3.15pm, reached before 6pm. It was the first time the 5 of us were traveling to Malacca in our new car, the 'Grandis'. Its a 7 seater with a DVD-TV, so we watched 'Die Another Day' the whole journey. First time traveling seemed SO SHORT!! Glad there is a distraction now!!! Below is a picture of me and Godwin during our journey.....

We reached my aunt's place, and was greeted warmly by my aunt and her best friend, Marian. We had our tea break, then just watched TV while Marian and my aunt prepared dinner. Marian had cooked crab curry and fried chicken. She is seriously a good cook!!! After dinner, we all went to the Portuguese Settlement. Its suppose to be lighted up very grandly for Christmas every year. We went there last year too. The houses were really nicely lighted up. I took out the camera, ready to take pictures.....but after about 10 minutes..the battery WENT OFF!!!! I was like....OMG!!!! I totally forgot to charge it!!! Haih...but I did manage to take some pictures before the camera went off.

Quite nice, right??? Well, I'm going for Christmas midnight mass at Christ Church today. We have to leave at 8.30pm even though mass starts at 10pm!! Its gonna be really crowded, and it would be a miracle to find a parking space!!! Plus, our car is really long for it is a 7 seater!! My
aunt is in the choir, and so is Marian!! My aunt got a call from the priest in the morning, telling her that she has to do the second reading!! LoL

Well, that's about it!!!! Ciao!! Have a nice Christmas everyone!!!! Especially to all my friends out there!!! Last time to have fun before PMR results!!! =P

Mamma Mia Smash Hit Musical!!!!

on Sunday, December 21, 2008

Its been exactly a week since my last post!!! Had been super busy what with all the preparations going on!!! I went to watch the famous 'Mamma Mia Smash Hit Musical' yesterday at Istana Budaya!!! O-M-G!!!! It was AWESOME!!!! I've been to 4 musicals before this, and I have to say, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THIS!!!! Seriously!!!! I really wished though my best friends, Janice, Ramona and Elizabeth could have seen it!!! I know they will no doubt enjoy it to the MAX!!!! It was seriously good, for the first time I see everyone STOOD UP and clapped and cheered for them!!! I could see that Gabe really enjoyed it!!! Well, who wouldn't??? =D

Since I haven't blog the whole week, let me just brief you on what I did this past week. Monday and Tuesday just did my normal stuff. On Wednesday, I went to watch 'Twilight' with Janice and Ramona, plus did some shopping!!! Bought a new dark brown dress (Ramona's choice) and also a necklace and earrings to go with it. Thank God I had Ramona and Janice to choose for me, I seriously can't make decisions when it comes to this kind of stuff!!! LoL Had loads of fun with them!! I can't believe how much I missed going to school and talking to them!!

On Thursday, my aunt came down from Malacca. We all set up the Christmas tree (about time!!), my aunt got us some cool new decorations, will have some pictures put in soon!! I went for my last dance class too...*sobs* I'm gonna really miss dancing with my group!!! No more concerts and performances anymore.....haih....I'm seriously gonna miss performing in concerts!!! What to do....some things just have to be given up, even though dancing is like my passion.... =(

Moving on....Friday. My dad, my aunt and I went to Subang Parade. My aunt got me a damn nice pair of shoes!!!! I really love it!!! Then we went around scouting for a pair of trousers for Godwin. Man, it was so hard to find his size!!! Considering he is short, but a bit big in the tummy side =P, it was like looking for a bar of gold in a tin mine!!! Anyway, we finally found one in the Reject Shop. LoL, talk about rejects!!! =D My aunt wanted to get me another dress as well, but couldn't find a decent shop in Subang Parade. So, we went to Sunway Pyramid at night, the 3 of us again. We went back to the same shop I bought the dark brown dress with Ramona and Janice. That store has got amazing looking dresses at a reasonable price. In the end, my aunt got me a really sweet looking red and white dress, with a kind of flowery pattern. It is SOO nice!!!

Well, that practically wraps up my entire week!! Didn't do much today, morning had mandarin class, afternoon did some work for my mum and evening just this a little bit of this and that. That's it for now then, ciao!!!

Drama Time!!!!

on Sunday, December 14, 2008

Wah!! Feel so tired... Couldn't blog yesterday, was really busy at night. So anyway, yesterday was like...absolutely FULL of dramas!!!! Got up in the morning, discovered that my mum and grandmother didn't go to the market like they are suppose to. Apparently, they are both still angry with one another after a fight that day. My mum then told me that if my grandmother doesn't want to go to the market, then we all got no food to eat is not her problem. I was like...WTH???? I was seriously damn freaking angry!!!! As far as I am concerned, they both are seriously acting like a bunch of 5 year olds!!!! C'mon larh, what are suppose to eat then???!!!

Anyway, I was complaining to my dad then, but, what can he do?? Absolutely nothing, that is. So, my mum was like, completely angry the whole day...*sighs* She practically shouted at everyone yesterday. We went to church in the evening, and the most interesting thing happened. While the priest was reading the Gospel, we all have to stand. Suddenly, there was a scream outside, on the right side of the church, the side which we were seating on, everyone turned and look, including the priest. Apparently, a woman's handbag was snatched by a motorcyclist who came in!! Ironic, isn't it??? A snatch theft in a church!!! LoL

Well, today was not that bad....not as bad as yesterday that is. Got up early today, because I had to hang clothes, while my dad cook a meat dish. I then cooked vegetables and egg later in the morning for lunch and dinner. My dad had to take Gabe for his Open Day in Sunway College. Had a bit of drama as well, my mum wants Gabe to take Phscology while he wants to take Computer Science. Haih....

Went to Subang Parade in the afternoon to get a Christmas present...came back and helped my grandmother wrap all the Christmas presents. Afterthat, I finally went out cycling in what felt like..a MILLION YEARS!!! Felt incredible, I just love cycling, gives me a feeling of being free!!

Well, at the moment my mum is telling me which present is for who, because I have to wrap them up tomorrow. I have mandarin class tomorrow morning at 10am, plus piano replacement class from last week at 1pm. I can never be free from all this!! *sighs*

That's about it then, ciao!!

Curtain Day!!

on Friday, December 12, 2008

FINALLY!!! The horror of 'curtain day' is DONE!!!! YAY!!!! LoL. Okay, let me explain exactly what is 'curtain day'. 'Curtain Day' is a day when my mum takes leave from work, which is usually on Fridays, for that's the same day our helper that cleans the house comes. So, the usual routine of this day goes like this:

1. Aunty Jojo (cleaning lady) comes at around 7.15am-7.30am
2. My mum will be up at 7.30am
3. My mum will come to me and my brothers' room, and yell at us all to get up.
4. Gabriel will be instructed to take down all the curtains.
5. Me and my mum will take off all the curtain hooks.
6. Curtains will be fold, two people fold one, kept in plastic bags and kept upstairs.
7. Aunty Jojo will clean all the windows and doors.
8. Me and Gabriel will have to clean dusts from shelves, altars and tables.
9. The moment Aunty Jojo finishes moping the hall, my mum would start fixing hooks on the other set of curtains.
10. The moment she finishes one, Gabriel has to fix it up.

Well, that's basically it. Usually, the drama will be started in the morning. My mum will ALWAYS be VERY angry, God knows whats wrong with her, and she'll shout at everyone, including when giving us orders on what to do. If any of us aren't doing anything, she'll just simply shout at us, saying things like, ' You think your a king/queen ar?? Go and do work!! NOW!!!' . These dramatic scenes will end by mid-afternoon, THANK GOD!!!

Other than that, my day went out okay, I guess. Managed to watch 'Heroes' while my mum was bathing. Sad thing is she didn't record 'Shark', which has become one of the series I HAVE to watch every week, it started out last week when I saw the very first episode....its just really hilarious!! *grins*

Also, I ate ice-cream again for after like....an eternity!! Was so damn nice!! Guess that is what happens when we hardly eat something, when we eat it the next time, it will be so good!!! Plus, the ice-cream was 'Tip-top', one of the best brands for ice-cream!!! And expensive too!! LoL. I also managed to get my bicycle working again!!! I will finally get to go cycling again, which is Sunday evening, since I've got to go for Sunset Mass on Saturdays...oh well, at least I can cycle again!!! *gives a whoop*

Looks like I and Gabe have mandarin class tomorrow, we have to take Godwin's class, and Godwin takes ours which is on Sunday mornings. Gabe has to go for Sunway College's Open Day on Sunday....hopefully he'll be able to do a degree in what he actually likes!!! =)

That's about it for today. Ciao!!!

Secrets????

Well, I couldn't blog yesterday, for my dance class started at 7pm to 10pm yesterday. If yesterday was full of drama, then today is like...NOTHING compared to yesterday!! Whenever my mum is at home, there seriously will be NO PEACE at all!!! She'll shout from one thing to another. The worst part is that today is Curtain Day, the day which she will change the curtains, and we all have to dust this and that. So, obviously, she has to take leave from work today....UGH!!!!

I'll seriously be glad when today is so damn over!!! I'll thank God if I can even make through it today!! I'm so not exaggerating here, almost every 10 minutes she comes and asks me to go do some stupid thing!! I don't even have time to MYSELF!!!!

The only highlight of yesterday was that after so many years, I finally knew the secret that I have been wanting to know so long. I can't post it here, obviously, because it is after all, a SECRET!! I'm glad I finally know what its all about, but I really didn't expect it to have such a change and huge impact and so utterly serious!! Haih.....

Well, that's about it, wish me luck to endure Curtain Day!!! *sighs*

Bolt!!!!

on Thursday, December 11, 2008

I went and watch 'Bolt' last night with my family, that's why didn't have enough time to blog yesterday. Bolt (the dog) is like so cute!!! Especially the part when it does puppy dog faces!!! Lol. The movie was quite nice...though my parents found it boring (no surprises there!!). Before the show, we saw Christina Shoba and a few of my brother's other friends....after the show, saw Aaron Chan, Jay Lyn and one unknown guy...

Anyway, didn't exactly do much yesterday. Went to pyramid in the afternoon with my dad to collect the tickets, then we just walked around for a while...saw some of my schoolmates who were working there. I feel kinda weird when I see them working, since I'm NOT!!! Haha!!

Haih.....at least my piano class was canceled today!!! But obviously, it will be replaced, which is next Monday!! That's about it, I guess. Till next time!!

Hopeless....

on Tuesday, December 9, 2008

Today has been absolutely hopeless and so not fun. First, my mum was in a useless mood, which means she scolds people for absolutely NO REASON!! It seriously pisses me off when she is like that, she will disrupt EVERYONE's DAY!!! *heaves a huge sigh*

Well, besides that, she banned Godwin from using the computer. WTH!!! Godwin was like...super duper angry...can't blame him, I would be to!!! The second thing she did was she didn't let Godwin play his Gameboy anymore saying that he spent way too much time playing it!!! Stupid, right?? I mean, c'mon la!!! What the hell do you expect him to do now??? Laze around??? Haih....

Right, besides that, managed to watch 'Reaper' today...and boy was it interesting!!! I seriously CANNOT wait for the next one!! Can't wait to watch '90210' and 'Desperate Housewives' tomorrow!!! Oh, plus, my parents, brothers and me are going to watch 'Bolt' tomorrow. We hardly ever go out, as in just the five of us together. Normally it will always be went our aunt is around.... That should be interesting....maybe like watching a train wreck...

Well, I've gotta go!! I've got mandarin class first thing in the morning...ugh....till tomorrow then!!

Not exactly an Ideal Day....

on Monday, December 8, 2008

Wow, I've never felt so full in my life!! Lol Right, so today, got up in the morning, had to peel of skins of 9 garlics for my grandmother!! Took me so long to finish even 1!! Haih, well, my dad helped me out, so I was able to finish it faster than if I was doing it alone. =) Talked to Janice as well, her news was so damn fascinating!! ;)

Later, my mum and Gabe went to Mydin Mall. Gabe hates shopping as far as I know, so he was really bumped that he had to follow my mum. But I think he cheered up when my mum bought for him 3 sets of trousers plus shorts. My mum bought me 4 nighties, dunno why she want to buy so many when I already have 2. That's just so typical of her.

In the afternoon, Gabe went to see Madagascar 2 and Twilight. So jealous!!! Oh well, I will also be watching Twilight soon!! My mum and I then went to Sunway Pyramid. She bought me the baju kurung (school uniform) as promised, and bedsheet to go with the silk quilt she bought from Beijing's Silk Factory. The patterns they had there were incredible, and I seriously mean it!! The tour guide managed to coax my mum into buying a set, so she bought this really nice looking pattern one, it has red roses, really Englishy type. Its damn nice!! =)

After that, we just kept walking here and there, just window shopping, looking at this and that. I saw Ginaesan and his friends too, was quite nice to see him after some time, just smiled at him and vice versa, also saw Lee Ching whom I knew from taekwondo. She was kinda excited to see me, I just smiled and waved at her. I couldn't very well talk to her since my mum was walking in a super speed mode. We ate at Pancake house too before leaving.

While waiting for my dad, saw Gabe's friends too, Guo Yi, Hoi Liong, Kar Whye, Kean Weng and Navina, just smiled and waved at them when they spotted me and waved. Got home around 7.15pm, called Ramona to confirm our movie date and time.

That's about it, after that, all the things that happened I prefer not to pos it here... for its kinda inappropriate, if you get what I mean....Well, till tomorrow then!!!

Tesco much??

on Sunday, December 7, 2008

Well, the main highlight of my day today was going to Tesco!! Unbelievable!! Yesterday when my mum said we're going shopping, I thought we'll be going somewhere NICE!!! Haih....when she told me that we're going to Tesco, and later to her office in the afternoon, I was like....this is a pure waste of my time!! I'd rather stay at home and go online, so I told her I didn't want to go. But nooooo, I HAVE to follow all because my dad was going as well!! Plus my grandmother too. Couldn't have asked for a better day now, could I?? My mum bought loads of Christmas decorations as well, mainly gold colour, don't know why she even bothers when we NEVER celebrate Christmas here!!

Had mandarin class in the morning. Had a real laugh with teacher and Gabe. Played with Godwin's Gameboy in the evening.....annoyed him like hell by refusing to let him play the piano AND his own Gameboy!! Haha!! I like seeing him when he's annoyed and mad!! Lol!!

Janice got back from camp yesterday, and she has HOT NEWS!!! Haha!! Can't wait to hear it tomorrow!! Obviously I can't post it....because that would be just plain mean!! Well, that's pretty much about it......till tomorrow then!!!

Unbelievable!!!!!

on Saturday, December 6, 2008

Today was quite okay....unless you count what happened a few minutes ago which I will mentioned later. Well, started out when I got up, I saw that my grandmother had bought a LIVE FISH from the market!!! I was like....couldn't you just buy a dead one, like everyone else??? She was scraping off the scales when I got there, then I noticed that the fish was STILL BREATHING!!! I then asked her shouldn't the fish be dead if she wants to do anything to it?? She just ignored me, then she asked me to ask my dad to cut off the fins and gills and stuff.....it was seriously 'yuck'!!!

My dad didn't realise that the fish is still alive, he just took the knife, and started cutting the first fin off. Naturally, the fish would scream in pain, that is if it could, so I saw that it opened its mouth so damn big!!!! I started shouting at my dad, 'Can't you kill it first?? Can't you see that its practically screaming in pain?????'. My dad was like....'Oh, I didn't know it was still alive!!!' I was like......haiyooooh...

After that dramatic scene, I helped my grandmother in the kitchen till lunch time. I was on the computer the whole afternoon, but had to practice piano first thanks to my mum (no surprises there). Then we all got ready for church, went to church and came back. Then my dad and grandmother put dinner on the table for us to eat.

Now, this is went it started. My mum started shouting at me for deleting her recording on 'Shark' (we have AstroMax, so we can record shows), I on the other hand, was like....since when did I even TOUCH it???? She went on and on accusing me all because she saw me watching TV before we went to church. How ironic!!!! I didn't even touch her damn recording!!! Well, it ended when she was screaming at me, and I was screaming back at her. C'mon la, I'm not going to just sit there and let her shout at me when I didn't even do anything damn thing wrong!!!!

The rest of my family just sat back and ate their food, nothing much they could actually do. A few minutes ago, she asked me if I would like to go shopping tomorrow with her. Unbelievable, right??? One minute she's shouting at me, next she's asking me SO NICELY if I would like to follow her shopping tomorrow!!! Haih....my guess is that's her way of apoligising to me... Well, what to do....life can sometimes be so weird!!

Anyway, I managed to watch this week's episode of 'October Road' and 'In Plain Sight'. As usual, I cannot wait for next weeks one!!! Oh yeah, my mum had gotten a total of RM80 voucher for Jusco during her annual dinner last night. I asked her what she was going to do with it, and she said she'll buy me a new set of baju kurung (school uniform) for all the hard work that I've done for them!!! I was incredibly happy. The truth is, my mum hates it when I wear baju kurung, she says I look just like a Malay girl!!! I couldn't be bothered, she refused to buy for me one, that's why I bought it myself with the little money I had collected last year.

Well, that's it for today!!! I hope everything will go well tomorrow!!!! =)

Gameboy day!!! =)

on Friday, December 5, 2008

Didn't do much at all today....ever since I'm free of all my mum's work, I'm starting to get bored.....lol Well, yesterday night was quite fun. Me and the girls had a serious time laughing around and acting like 5 year olds during dance class, lol. When I came back home, like around 10.30pm, my mum asked me to iron all her outfits for today, since today is her annual dinner!! I wonder hows it going now....

Managed to watch 'Heroes' today!!! Today's episode was so exciting!!! As usual, I can't wait for next weeks one!!! Also, I've officially started watching the new television series....'Shark'!!! Its kinda like 'Boston Legal', which was also one of my favourite shows, but this one only has one lawyer acting like big time bigshot.

It rained in ther afternoon, so I couldn't very well use the computer. So, I first accompanied my grandmother and help her repaint her nails. I managed to persuade her last week to STOP using RED nail polish all the time!!! Finally got her to use different colours, though she still complaints that its not nice!!! Haih.....when is the time she actually doesn't complain???

After that, she took her usual afternoon nap, while I go into my room which I share with my brothers to disturb Godwin. He was playing with his Gameboy, so I went and took Gabriel's Gameboy and started playing this racing game which I'm becoming really addicted to.....I can't imagine any other girl getting addicted to racing games!!! LOL

That is a picture of me and Godwin....got bored after a while, so decided to take pics!!! LOL Well, if you have read my previous posts, I did mention that I was helping my mum sewing yellow scarfs for her annual dinner.....below is a pic of the scarf and me!! hehe!!

Pretty nice right my mum make??? Haha!! Well, that pretty much rounds up for today...Ciao!!!

Perfumes much??? >.<

on Thursday, December 4, 2008

Today was seriously exhausting!!! Though I have finished all the work that needed to be done for my mum's annual dinner, which is taking place tomorrow, I was given yet another task to do, which is buying perfumes for Christmas presents.

After my piano class, at around 3pm, me and my dad went to Armada Hotel in PJ for the sale that was going on. They are only selling perfumes and cosmetics there very cheap it seems. So, my mum told me to go there with my dad to get perfumes for Christmas presents. When we got there, we were like.....WAH!!!! The place was so damn crowded!!!

Even to enter, we had to line up. When we got passed the door, it was so hard to walk through the crowd to see and smell the different kinds of perfumes that was on sale there. My dad and I were clueless on which to buy, that make things more difficult. After pushing through here and there, mind you, the room was not so big, we just simply chose a few and went to line up. The line was so damn long!!!! We lined up for exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes!! There were a few pregnant women who kept going in and out, due to the strong stench of perfume in the room.....guess they couldn't take it, no surprises there. The couple in front of us really caught my attention. The way both of them click and behave sort of reminded me of one of my best friends, Liz and her boyfriend, Nabeel. LOL (hope she doesn't kill me for posting that!!!)

My dad started telling me to observe some of the sellers. According to him, two of the 'woman- like' sellers there are ACTUALLY MEN!!! I was like.....huh??? He then told me to observe properly at their body shapes and the shapes of their faces. I then realized that he was right!! My dad then told me that I could normally find a lot of these type of people in the cosmetics industry. It seems that they inject hormones to their bodies, and in time, they would slowly have a body shape of a woman's. I was quite stunned by this.....well, at least I learned something new today!!! =)

I managed to watch this weeks '90210' and 'Desperate Housewives' episode. I absolutely enjoy those shows!!! Can't wait to watch tomorrows episode of 'Heroes'!!! Well, that's it from me today, I gotta go get ready for dance class!!

FREE AT LAST!!!!!

I'm so relieved!!!! Finally all my work is done!!!!! Became so busy that didn't even had time to look at the computer!! LOL!! Anyway, for the last 2 days that I didn't post anything, I had been working till 11pm at night!! So tiring....haih!! On the previous day, I was busy finishing my mum's graduation hat, plus sewing numbers on two of my mum's office mates' jerseys. Believe me, this MAY sound simple, but its SO NOT!!!

I managed to finish my mum's hat in the afternoon, at around 4pm. Then I had to do the two shirts, each shirt have to sew two numbers, one at the back and one at the front. I managed to only sew one number on one of the shirts, because had to rush of to Carrefour with my dad. Bought all the groceries, met my mum there, she bought some Christmas decorations, because this year's theme is suppose to be Gold & Silver. Last year was Blue & Silver, and the year before that was Red & Silver. I don't exactly see why she is so particular about these things, since we never celebrate Christmas here. Normally we would celebrate in Johor Bahru, my dad's hometown, but ever since my uncle passed away, which was last year in May (2nd to be exact), my aunt moved to a condominium in Malacca.

Her condominium is seriously damn nice, we have a really nice view of the sea from her tiny balcony. We will taking a trip there for Christmas this year again. This will be our second time celebrating Christmas there. This year, my aunt's best friend, Marian will also be there. She's really helpful, friendly and nice. Last year she couldn't join us for she had to go somewhere else. Anyway, once I got back from Carrefour, took my bath and dinner, I had to continue sewing the jerseys. Finally finished both at 11pm. I went to bed immediatly since I had mandarin class at 10am the following morning.

The next day, which is yesterday, I had to sew numbers on the other 2 jerseys. Altogether, I had to do the four jerseys for all 4 basketball players. I seriously did not understand why they just couldn't do it themselves. Well, I was practically suffering sewing just ONE number, because each time while doing it, something HAS to go WRONG!!! At 3.30pm, I still haven't even completed sewing ONE NUMBER!!!! And I had to do FOUR NUMBERS!!! When my grandmother came back from Subang Parade with her friends, she offered to help me, she sewed two numbers for me!!! God bless her la!!! I was so happy!! =) After taking my dinner, I continued to do the next number, later, my dad thought me how to do a faster way. Well, he sewed the last number for me!!! God bless him as well!! It was around 11pm also when I finished everything.

Today got up, my mum called me from office and told me that her office mates really appreciate all that I had done (credit also goes to my dad and grandmother!!) , and they said 'Thank you very much!!'. Imagine that!! After all the work and time I sacrificed for them, all I got was that plus a small teddy bear???? Life is just so unfair at times. Well, gotta go now, I've got piano class later, plus have to go out to buy some perfumes for Christmas presents!!

P.S Hope you enjoy your luxury cruise trip, Ramona!!! =)

As Busy As a Bee!!!

on Tuesday, December 2, 2008

Have been super busy for the past 2 days!! Didn't have time to blog, so I thought of doing it in the morning today, about the last 2 days. Well, on Sunday, as mentioned in my previous post, I had to follow my mum to the market in Klang. I got at 6.30am (mum's orders), and I had to get ready in 15 minutes, because my mum said to leave at 6.45am. I just took my breakfast and freshened up, no point taking a bath, because markets are so dirty!! As usual, my mum was late, so we only left at 7.15am!!! I was like, no use larh I get up so early, in the end I and my grandmother had to wait for my mum outside (I was playing with my brother's Gameboy while my grandmother was busy complaining).

It took about 30 minutes to reach there, since we were late (thanks to my mum!!), we had no parking space, so my grandmother and me got down first. The market was quite big, they sell practically everything. The clothes fashion selling there was also not bad for a market, lol. Well, my grandmother wanted to buy tortoise, because she said it is good for cough. I was like, okay...I am sooo not eating it. The guy selling it just took the tortoise out of the water, give it a knock on the head using the knife, it wasn't really dead yet...he just put it on the road and started cutting out the shell. I was like.....OMG!!! It wasn't even fully dead yet, plus there was blood all over the road. Thank God I wasn't those type of people who will fall sick at the sight of blood (my mum is, but she was still parking the car at that time).

While walking along inside the market, buying pork, chicken, organic vegetables, onions, garlic and others, I saw so many beggars. One that particularly was stuck in my mind ever since then was this really REALLY thin guy, he only had one hand, and one leg. He laid face down on the road, with a Milo tin in front of me, and he just keeps bobbing his head up and down, groaning at the same time. I was like......so poor thing!!! Others were like also very very thin, but theirs was more of like injuries and stuff. I then thought, I guess this is why I'm in Leo Club, to help people!!

After we came back, my mum continued sewing the yellow scarfs for her annual dinner, while the rest of us were in the kitchen, all very fascinated while my grandmother was cutting the tortoise!! It was sort of like Biology class or something, we got to see the windpipe, the inside of the tortoise. It was pretty gross, but again, thank God I don't get sick at the sight of these kind of things. In the afternoon, I just helped my mum turn the yellow scarfs she made inside out, and iron them. I was practically doing them until 10pm. Before that, I did a bit of her boss's graduation hat and spent half an hour practicing piano.

Yesterday, I spent the whole day just finishing her boss's hat, and cutting out numbers, for her and 3 other office mates who were going as basketball players. Believe me, it was so much of work!! I also did a bit of my mum's hat yesterday, have to finish it off today. I got a small teddy bear for all the work I did for them, though I prefer cash =) , but I also love teddy bears, so I wasn't that bumped!! Well, I've gotta go, have to watch 'Reaper', and finish off my mum's hat!!
